Heralded as one of the UK’s standout talents, London-based star Allegra broke the dance music scene last year with her collaboration with Tiësto on a remix of her track ‘Round & Round’. This success launched her into the spotlight with a #1 hit on the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart, which was followed by the dance-floor anthem ‘Love You Right Back’, featuring the acclaimed DJ Alok. Now, she’s maturing and seizing control with the release of her debut EP ‘Unsent Love Letters Vol.1’, produced by Tim Gosden. On release now, the collection of songs is poised to be her most honest work to date, uncovering hidden love letters and encapsulating the several stages of a break-up. **WeTransfer link to HQ 320 MP3s below

The EP’s lead single, ‘Strangers’, delves into the aftermath of a broken relationship and the wish that it had never happened. Departing from the dance-pop fusion seen in her recent hits, ‘Strangers’ marks a new chapter, showcasing Allegra’s emerging emotive pop style. The infectious single comes with a playful music video, filmed in the heart of her hometown, London. Describing the video, Allegra shared “It’s a really fun video. There is a figure at the beginning of the video who represents my boyfriend, and then it ends. It goes through the process of being with him and leaving, then walking through the city, wishing you were strangers and feeling completely empowered.”

The remixes of ‘Strangers’, released on September 20th, feature a standout lineup, including a ‘Dope Demand’ remix from the legendary #1 Beatport artist Block & Crown. This is complemented by a trance remix from Perfect Strangers, alongside 2 Sub Dude and So Cool Network, who have consistently appeared in the Music Week charts Top 10 and earned the title of Billboard #1 Dance producers.

Allegra’s journey from breakout club hits to crafting a collection of deeply personal tracks showcases her versatility, as she continues to captivate audiences with her distinctive fusion of emotive pop and dance music. Her ability to intertwine vulnerability with empowerment ensures that ‘Unsent Love Letters Vol.1’ will leave a lasting impression, marking the next phase of her already impressive career. The diary-like lyricism of the EP reveals the singer’s intimate side, creating an overarching narrative of self-love and independence designed to empower women.

Speaking on the EP, Allegra shared “Each song is an unsent love letter with a different storyline. It goes from heartbreak, to going through the process of a breakup, to realizing I’m a boss ass woman! But the EP is raw and vulnerable. I’ve always had this thing about love letters - when I was younger and got upset, I would write letters and never send them. It’s how you get your feelings out.”

Tim Gosden, the producer of both ‘Strangers’, and Allegra’s first EP ‘Unsent Love Letters’, has achieved remarkable success in the music industry. Having produced and co-written tracks for an impressive roster of artists including Tiestö, Alok, Becky Smith (Nicky Romero, Gamper & Dadoni) and many more. His work has reached number 1 positions on the Music Week Chart in 2023 and 2024, accumulated tens of millions of streams and garnered mainstream radio recognition across numerous releases. Tim is widely recognised as one of the most sought-after producers in the pop music industry.

Allegra has established her presence in the UK music landscape, admired for her distinctive fusion of passion and pop sensibility. Her unwavering determination and infectious sound have propelled her towards ever-increasing commercial success, with Round & Round’ amassing nearly 6 million streams. Prior to that, her singles have seen collaborations with esteemed artists such as Tobtok, Full Intention, Majestic, and R3HAB. Allegra’s music has appeared on hundreds of daytime radio playlists, and she has been featured in countless feature press articles as well as on BBC TV, steadily ticking all the right boxes as she worked her way into the general public’s awareness.

The upcoming second EP track, ‘Upgraded’, blends a melancholy vibe with deeply uplifting lyrics, capturing the realization that she is better off after the heartbreak. Combining heartfelt vocals, ethereal piano and subtle production, Allegra passionately chronicles the beautiful early stages of romance and its unraveling into an unhealthy relationship, ultimately leading her to leave the partnership stronger and ready to move on. ‘Refund’ begins to lift the mood, boldly proclaiming self-worth after a period of pain and sadness. Channeling the seductive, confident style of Tate McRae, the song fuses arpeggiating synths with a hypnotic rhythm, showcasing Allegra’s unique talent for melodic, emotionally-driven songwriting. The track is sure to captivate female listeners with its relatable theme, inspired by the desire to "get a refund or a return" for the past relationship.

Closing the EP, ‘Rain’ depicts Allegra’s newfound freedom and embrace of life as she reaches the final stage of her break-up. With its enchanting electronic instrumentation, the track is reminiscent of notable mainstream artists like Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, and Mimi Webb. It sets the tone for her journey toward self-discovery, offering a dazzling glimpse of what’s to come.
